(Toronto, Canada – Anna & Sarah’s Apartment - 2O/CEO, Lt. Cmdr. Keira Merek / Anna Hegilsdottir-  1110)

Keira had spent quite a few hours catching up with the world she found herself in, and who Anna, this body she found herself in is and Sarah Rothchilde, Anna’s significant other. The pair had been in an exclusive relationship since just before Anna interviewed for the Exeter part as Keira. Anna has been on the cast of a program called “Star Trek: Exeter” for the entirety of the first season. Sarah was one of several lower tier lawyers responsible for the day to day legal goings on of the broadcast company with the rights to the intellectual property that was Star Trek: Exeter. To Keira the undertone was that Sarah put in a good word for Keira’s hiring. The technology was fairly straight forward easily late information age where computers took exponential leaps several times during the period, however they were a good deal distant from inventing early isonlinear technology. Though, searching through the periodicals on the world wide web, a global data depository, Keira found no mention of the Eugenics Wars or the Third World War, save fictional sources. History here, was markedly different. If those sources are to be believed, this put Keira firmly in the past of an alternate reality, but still unclear on how they got here, or more importantly how to get home. Sarah had been patient through the whole thing, seemingly on board with helping Anna step by step try to piece together her life. For that, Keira was grateful.

Sarah had offered an opportunity to leave the apartment because “they were out of booze”. Keira had gladly accepted as this was a way to survey the surrounding area of this unfamiliar city, that she now knew was called Toronto. A quick change of clothes on the behest of Sarah stating: “leggings aren’t pants”, into dark denim shorts, athletic shoes and a cotton fabric shirt this time with out a logo on it. The pair used a cable car lift and made their way from the apartment to an attached parking structure. They had entered a ground conveyance slightly shorter than a shuttle pod, but with out the room to stand up. The vehicle was a lime green color, and was rounded almost bulbous in appearance. It had a circular logo with angular lines inside of it. They entered and Keira mirrored Sarah putting on some kind of restraint built into the chair. Sarah then pushed a button and the accessories in the vehicle came to life.

As the vehicle started to move through the structure Keira looked down at the communications device that was in her hand, Anna’s phone. Luckily it was set up to use by using Anna’s thumb print which was now in Keira’s possession. Keira swiped her thumb and the screen lit up. Her searching of the digital archives earlier had taught her how to use it and several of the programs on the device. She opened one of the several text based communication programs and found several members of the cast in the contacts list.

Her finger hovered over one name. Ravine, Kyle. She found out earlier this was the actor who played Ravok on the series. If Keira had landed in her actress, maybe others had done so too.

“Nice turn signal, JERK!” Sarah blurted out.

Keira looked at her, one raised eyebrow.

“What?” Sarah asked sheepishly, “he didn’t signal.”

Turning back to her phone, Keira wrote a very short message, in the best she could approximate of Romulan to Kyle Ravine. She reached out in the hopes that Ravok and not Kyle was in control of the body. She hoped that Ravok would see it and know it was her. If Kyle answered it would seem like gibberish, but she could pass it off as a script clarification. She hit the send button.
