(Toronto, Canada – Pinewood Toronto Studios, Sound Stage 3 – SOPS, Lt. JG
Billy Alexander/Gawain Romanowski – 0918)
Gawain Romanowski walked into the sound stage. He had a swagger about him.
He was thrilled. He was finally getting the recognition he so craved. It
was hard being the youngest of five brothers. Especially with as
successful as his brothers were. His brother Tristan, the eldest of the
five, was a star. He had charisma, a look, athleticism. He was already
super famous as a WWE Superstar, and then joined an elite group of talent,
such as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Dave Bautista, John Cena, and Mike "The
Miz" Mizanin, in making the jump from the ring to the screen. Tristan was
the star. Lance was also a star, still active in the ring. Not really
interested in acting, he would do a guest spot here or there, but only
because he would use those appearances to raise his in-ring profile. Percy,
the middle brother, was a transactional attorney in Dallas, Texas. He
specialized in contracts and business affairs. He worked as the attorney
for the brothers, working in conjunction with the agents to get the best
deal and also support their outside business arrangements. While not an
actor or a wrestler, Percy was one of the most well regarded attorneys in
the state of Texas. Garry, the fourth brother, was the least well known. A
theatre teacher in Oklahoma City, he taught at both the High School and
University level. He was also a playwright and well regarded for his craft
as a teacher and writer. Gawain the youngest wanted despertely to be
recognized for his talents. Much like his brothers were recognized for
theirs.
He had a decent gig as a recurring character on Star Trek Exeter. But in
the first season he was only in half the episodes and didn't have as much
lines as he would have liked. He had been developing a bit of a career as a
voice actor, but he wanted more and he was finally getting it. He had just
been cast as the lead for a SyFy channel show as a paranormal detective. He
would have less to do as Billy Alexander, but thanks to the fact that both
shows filmed in Toronto, he could still guest as needed. But he was happy
to leave Billy behind and start playing the Paranormal Psychologist and
hunter of the weird, Emmanuel Crane. More than anything, Gawain knew he was
finally going to get what he always wanted. He was going to be recognized
for who he was and for what his talents were. He was finally going to get
his time to shine. He was going to step out from behind his family's
shadow. He would be his own person, make his own name, and he loved it.
Walking around the sound stage he saw the actress who played the character
of Janice Hammerfield. She didn't play one of the department heads, but
ever since she joined the cast, she appeared in every episode. Gawain had
been jealous, since he had been there since the pilot. She got a slot he
had hoped he would get. But it didn't matter now. He wasn't jealous
anymore. He was going to have his own show. He was gonna be a star. So he
figured, make sure you leave on a good note and he decided to approach her.
"Good morning Ava, how are you?"
(Reply Hammerfield)
Gawain then gave her a glance, "Ava, what are you doing in costume, filming
on season two doesn't start until tomorrow."
(reply Hammerfield)
