Stan picked up his fork and stuck it into a suspicious looking purple Suhi roll. Slowly he lifted it to his mouth. Taking a small nibble he smiled. It was Beetroot.

He could see Michael’s looking at him over her glass. Making sure his teeth were now. Not the same colour as the Beetroot Sushi roll he had just eaten. Stan spoke.

“ Yes I do please. There are some very interesting wee plants growing on some mountains not far from here. That I would love to have a look at. I am fascinated by how they managed to grow there. Just think small seeds get blown up that high. Somehow they anchor themselves to the rock face. Then they somehow get water and nutrients.......” 

Stan realised he was getting carried away. 

“ Och. Sorry. Yes I could do with someone to help me go climbing please.” Stan said blushing.
