(Exeter - Science Lab -SOPS, Lt. JG Billy Alexander and aACMO Ensign SG Heinrich Kruze - 06:40)

Heinrich walked into the science lab carrying the urn. “I figure if we want to know more about this urn we’ll need to analyze it.

“Can I be not hungover first?”

“Hey, I’m hungover too. But in case you forgot we are being chased by I don’t know who and I suspect they want the urn.”

“Seriously where did this urn come from?”

“That’s what I want to know.” They approached one of the computers in the lab. “So… how do we do this?”

“Umm, well I think if you we use the spectro mag something or other over there, we can date the urn for origin and age. Then if we use the thing that looks like a volcano, we can figure out the species of whoever those ashes belong to.”

“Uh, yeah. Sounds good.” Heinrich didn’t quite understand what Billy was saying, he was a doctor not a scientist. But He figured he could wing it. He took the urn and put it on the spectro mag something. “Computer, identify object’s origin and age.”

The machine scanned the urn and made some noise. “Urn. Earth. Stardate 1990.11.22.”

Heinrich was baffled, he’d never come across an object so old before.“Huh, that’s thing’s almost four centuries old. What do you make of it, Billy?”

“Like I said, it looks like the Undertaker’s Urn. But that was a prop. The metallic structure of this shows something more durable. Like titanium or something.”

“How strange.”

“Let’s look at the ashes.”

“Yes, let’s” Heinrich walked over to the thing that looks like a volcano, tooked the top off the urn, and sprinkled some of the ash on a dish. “Computer, identify these ashes.” Again, the computer made some noise before it said, “Species unknown.”

“Well, that’s helpful.”

“Well, dunno. Still, we should umm, figure out where the hell we got it. Here take a picture of the Urn and put it into the ship archealogical logs. See what comes up.”

“Sure.” Heinrich took the urn to another computer for its picture to be scanned and added to the database. “Well, this is odd…” Heinrich said looking at the screen.

“Oh?”

“You’re not going to believe this.”

“Well, spill.”

“This urn hasn’t been seen for two centuries. It was stolen from the WWE Hall of Fame and lost to history. That, uh, makes it harder to figure out how it ended up in my bed.”

“No way, no @#$%#&^ way. This is that urn?”

“This appears to be The Undertakers urn.”

“No shit. Well slap my silly and call me sally.”

“Or maybe I’ll just pretend to.” Heinrich chuckled.

“Suit yourself.”

“Anyway,” Heinrich sighed, “I think the only way we are going to get to the bottom of this is by going back on the planet and finding the people who are looking for us.”

“Or and here is a thought. Bring them to us.”

“... Go on” Truth be told Heinrich was not looking forward to going back to Risa hungover and wanted for theft.

“Place the Urn on a the market, for sale. An auction for gold pressed latinum. See who comes, see who makes a move.”

Heinrich gave it a thought. “Yes, I think that just might work. Even if they’re not in it for the wealth, they’ll easily identify the item.”

“Tonight. We were tuxes and bring phasers. James Bond style.”

Heinrich smirked. “Hell yeah, sounds like a plan.”
