(Risa– Suraya Bay,The Feather Monkey Bar – Nurse – CPO – Ewan McDonald- 11:32)

 

Ewan smiled to himselfas he walked into the bar. He had a nice walk along one of the beaches from thebeam in site. He walked up to the bar and smiled at the barmaid. 

 

“What can I get foryou?”

 

“Um can I have aRisan Fruit sunrise please.”

 

“Of course comingright up.”

 

He watched as she begantaking out fresh fruit and began to make it. 

 

“You don’t happen toknow about where the           caves are?”

 

He saw her pausefor a moment before looking up at him.

 

“Not many offworlders know about that.”

 

Ewan grinned. 

 

“I know. I wasworking a with an anaesthetist call Nala. We would play in the evenings afterwork. She told me that she would go there and play when she comes home.”



He saw the barmaidsmile. 

 

“Yes, I use to playwith her before she left. We were part of a string quartet.” 

 

She paused as shefinished making the drink.

 

“What do you play.”

 

“Trumpet.”

 

He indicated a hardcasehe was carrying over one shoulder.

 

“Brass. You couldnot have picked a real instrument.” 

 

She said with asmile and he grinned back.

 

“Hay don’t you pickon the Brass section we are important you know.” 

 

“Of course, youare.”

 

She handed him hisdrink.

 

“For the caves goto the far end of the bay there is a small coastal path with will take you upalong the cliff edge. Head toward the blow holes and there is a small sign justpast them to the caves.”

 

He nodded as hetook the drink.

 

“Thank you verymuch.”

 

“Ow by the waythere is a band that plays in the evenings if you want to come. Might even letyou play.”

 

He grinned.

 

“That’s very kindof you. I will think about it.”

 

She smiled back as shemoved on to another person down the bar. Ewan turned and headed for a chair ashe sipped his drink.”
