" Lieutenant Williams to Ensign Tiar. "

She tapped her combadge "Ensign Tiar here, yes Lieutenant ?"

“Ensign Tiar before you head down to Riza. I would like to know how many
shuttles we have that need their mandatory flight check after their routine
maintenance cycle?”

She glanced down at the PADD in her hand. It didn't surprise her that he
seemed to know what she was doing.

"Working on it right now Sir. I'll send it to your PADD once I am
finished." she paused and continued. "I won't be going planetside Sir, I
will be staying on board. Too much work to get done around here.

Truth be told, she had no desire to be anywhere else. Vacation or not.
These ships, she thought as she gazed around her were her life.
