Erin smiled at Stan and he walked in her office and then her eyes saw he
plant in his arms.



“ Sorry for the delay ma’am. This is our friend here’s first visit outside
the Lab.’ Stan said



"Is that?" Erin gasped.



Stan handed her a PADD.



“ This has all the instructions ye will need. She’s been watered so there
is no need to repeat that for a day. Plus I gave her a good feed so she is
good to go for a few days. One thing though once the flowers  come through.
She would like a visit to the Arboretum. So the insects can Pollinate her
.” Stan said



"You… how? I've tried for so long…" Erin glanced at the plant on her desk
and sighed happily. The memory of the aroma from her family's farm where
the flowers grew in the yard filled her nostrils and she sighed happily.

communique from Starfleet. We have a returning crewmate joining our team.
Ensign Adala Michaels. "
