Stan felt cold inside as he relived the events of the holodeck.

“I see.” Ailynn nodded. “How did Lieutenant Williams kill Maxine? I’m given to understand that you were all held in stasis bonds, how did he get free?”
 
“ We were. But Maxine let Ire’s one drop. She taunted him to kill her.......and he went crazy and gutted her....” Stan said
 
“He did what?” She asked.
 
“ Ma’am after being held in a stasis field. Being forced to watch yer friends and colleagues die. My g-d  we all thought Maxine had killed Erin. Anyone would snap. She taunted him then dropped his stasis field. I don’t know why or what she expected. But if you do all that to someone then ask them to fillet you like a Salmon. Their gonna do it.” Stan said
