Mission: Auld Lang Syne

(Risa– Suraya Bay Resort, Beach- SPC Armory chief  PO2 Sytuk-0240)

Sytuk had been waiting for the chance to walk the sands of a real beach.
The Risian sun burned bright and warm. Sytuk beamed down to the surface
wearing a cloak to help block the sunlight from hitting his Reman skin.
With the hood over his and uv resistant glasses he walked along the beach.
He sniffed the fresh air of Risa feeling immense relaxation as he exhaled,
he turned towards the water and made his way past the people who were
walking on the beach . With each step his excitement grew.

He stops at the water, watching it rush in as his feet then retreating.
Crouching down he placed his hand in the warm waters. He smiled softly
while looking at his hand in the wet sand. The experience was beyond
anything the holodeck could offer. The fine grains of the wet sand sifted
through his hand.

Finally the moment he had been waiting for. He removed his glasses and
looked out onto the Risian water. His vision was flooded with intense
light. He could feel the pain burning inside his skull. Yet he refused to
look away.

After a few moments he couldn't bare the discomfort any longer and he
placed his glasses back on.

Standing up quickly he turned around and slammed into someone knocking them
to the ground.

" Hey man watch where you're walking " The young man said , quickly jumping
to his feet. Sytuk looked at him.

" I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention."

" Wait , you're  a Reman? " He asked.

" Yes "

" I didn't think Remans came to places like Risa."  The young man said.

" We don't. " Sytuk replied.

The young man looked over at his group of friends. " My name is Kalen ,we
were about to hit the falls and do some extreme jumping. You should join
us."

Sytuk looked at him. " Jumping off the falls ?"

" Sure why not? people do it all the time. " Kalen answered back.

Sytuk looked at the group of friends.

" Yeah. I'll come along."

He said following Kalen and his friends.

Unsure how this would end up going
