"At the present, its a bulky item under my shirt, it the past it's been a
means to make kindling for a fire, remove bones from game and fish. Most of
the time it reminds me of old comrades gone on to other things. I'll be
honest it serves no real purpose, it's just there. I wonder sometimes why I
carry it, I suppose like my cane its a useful item to have if I need it"

Jack nodded.

Placing the glass on the table Sleeford looked across the desk, "If
there's nothing else? I'm sure there's far more interesting cases then me."

"Well I can neither confirm or deny if there are cases that are more
interesting then you or not." Jack said with a laugh.

"Actually Paul there is something that you said piqued my interest."

"Your cane. It's my understanding that your synthetic leg is the one that
was originally hurt in the first place. Though I might be mistaken. But if
that is the case, do you still need the cane?"
