As soon as he heard the words.

“Enter” Stan felt cold. His nervous began to freeze up. Shaking his head More went through the opening doors.
 
The Commander  smiled gently, and motioned to the seat opposite. “Ensign, thank you for coming, and my apologies again for the delay in getting back to you. As to why you’re here. You were, last night one of the hostages in the incident on holodeck 3?”
 
“ Aye ma’am “ he replied softly.
 
“First things first, I am not here to pass judgement on your actions, or those of anyone else, it is my job at the moment to ascertain the precise facts of the incident up until the moment myself and the away team beamed in. Happy?”
 
“ Yes ma’am.” He said a bit louder
 
“Now, in your own time, please carry on, during our chat you may see me make notes, please understand that that is not anything to worry about and is not reflective on you. If you need refreshment, please help yourself.” She motioned to the chilled water jug on her desk, accompanied by two glasses. “I may also stop you and ask for an elaboration or clarification, once more, please don’t think that this is a reflection of yours, or anyone’s conduct. Do you understand?”
 
“ Yes ma’am “ He replied
 
“Excellent,” she said with a warm smile, “in your own time, from the beginning.”
 
Stan closed his eyes and began to speak.

“ As I was in sickbay. Waiting to question K’Tal I was approached by Lana Wakeman. She was concerned about recent strange behaviour from her friend Ens.Green. Apparently she had been talking to herself about someone being I competent and having to do the job herself. After my attempt to lure Ensign Green to sickbay failed. Myself and a couple of guards from Alpha shift. Proceeded to Ensign Greens quarters.......” Stan stopped. His mouth felt dry.

“ .....ma’am may I have a wee glass of water please..” Stan asked.
