Ailynn looked up at the door, as the chime went off. ~Ensign More, no
doubt~ she thought, as a few thoughts ran through her mind. “Enter” She
called out, Stan came in, no doubt feeling nervous as to how things were
going to play out.



She smiled gently, and motioned to the seat opposite. “Ensign, thank you
for coming, and my apologies again for the delay in getting back to you. As
to why you’re here. You were, last night one of the hostages in the
incident on holodeck 3?”



(Reply Stan)



“First things first, I am not here to pass judgement on your actions, or
those of anyone else, it is my job at the moment to ascertain the precise
facts of the incident up until the moment myself and the away team beamed
in. Happy?”



(Reply Stan)



“Now, in your own time, please carry on, during our chat you may see me
make notes, please understand that that is not anything to worry about and
is not reflective on you. If you need refreshment, please help yourself.”
She motioned to the chilled water jug on her desk, accompanied by two
glasses. “I may also stop you and ask for an elaboration or clarification,
once more, please don’t think that this is a reflection of yours, or
anyone’s conduct. Do you understand?”

“Excellent,” she said with a warm smile, “in your own time, from the
beginning.”
