EXETERRPG: (1, 0800) CO, Captain Trip Williams - Start of Auld Lang Syne, all Read

NRPG: This post officially starts Auld Lang Syne. However you are free to
finish up all threads and posts relating to Murder on the Exeter Express
until April 1st. So please continue to wrap that up.

RPG:

Mission: Auld Lang Syne
Day:01
Stardate: 2445.12.28

(USS Exeter – Bridge - CO, Captain Trip Williams- 0800)

As the Exeter arrived in orbit around Risa and made her way towards the
docking port where she would be secured for the next week, Trip sighed and
smiled. While he wasn’t looking forward to the Archaeological conference,
he was looking forward to some rest and relaxation time. He was hoping the
crew would enjoy it too. They needed it.

As he ran his hands through his air, he took a deep breath, then opened a
ship wide channel.

“Attention all crew, we have arrived at Risa. The Exeter will be at minimal
staff for the remainder of our sojourn here. If you will be using
accommodations on the surface, please be aware of what times and dates your
shifts are. I understand that we are here for vacation, but we do need some
staffind to make sure that our baby stays running to perfection. All crew
are free to head to the surface at 0900 hours. Please be patient when using
the transporters. There are only so many of them and 500 of us. Thank you.”

(Reply by any who wish to react to the news of arrival from wherever they
are)

Trip then tapped his commbadge, “Captain Williams to Lieutenant Ravok,
Lieutenant Cortez, Ensign Hammerfield, Ensign Kruze, please report to my
ready room at 0815.”

(reply Hammerfield, Ravok, Kruze, with your reactions, but not to trip as
he closed the comm.)

Tapping the commbadge again, “Ensign More, sorry for the delay on the
decision on transferring you from Tactical to Science, I know I said three
days, but it got lost in the shuffle of diplomatic relations and
administrative work. But I have finally come to a decision, even though its
three weeks later than I stated. Please meet me in my ready room at 0845.
Captain out.”

(reply More with reaction)

Trip then stood up and smiled at Ailynn. “Commander you have the bridge.”

With a joyous whistle Trip made his way to the ready room.
