As a security officer or ex one. More should of known all the department heads names. Which was fine for him because he had a photographic memory. But for some reason it was the one position on the Exeter. He did not know about. Maybe Erin knew?

Leaning towards him, she whispered, "I'm not sure but I have heard rumours."

“ Oh dear.....what have ye heard?” Stan asked 

"Well, I've heard that they are quite the taskmaster. Hard, can be nasty at times and has quite a temper."

“ Just my luck.” Stan said sadly shaking his head.” The Commander will nay allow me to swap.”

A smile erupted on Erin’s face as she sat back and laughed, "Chief Science Officer Lieutenant Cortez at your service." She said with a wink. 

“ Ouch yer wee monster. Yer had me going there. Well done.” Stan said laughing.

"Sorry, I couldn't resist. What's your speciality,  Stan?"

“ Botany and Biology. I love the way things grow and what makes them tick. There be  nay a better smell then the Galloway forest in Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland. After a good soaking from the morning rain.” He told her.
