After everything that had happened in the holodeck. Stan could not believe Erin did not blame him.

Because it was not your fault." She leant forward and took his hand gently. "Stan, listen. What happened, happened. We all have to deal with it. I'm still here. Nesha isn't. I'll carry that for the rest of my life but I know that it wasn't my fault. Whatever we would have said, she would have hurt us anyway."

“ But my non actions caused dire consequences. If I had not behaved like an idiot to begin with.....” Stan began

"What happened is not on you. There's no fault or blame here. No blood on your hands."

“ Blood on my hands....” Stan said softly 

"I'll put it another way. I don't blame you. You needn't apologise because you have nothing to apologise for. "

Stan was beginning to a little  feel  relieved.

“Thank you. I am ditching this yellow shirt. Going back to my first love...... science. I was supposed to go to science when I first arrived. But the department was full. The Captain is thinking it over but I am hopeful. I wonder who the Chief Science Officer is?” Stan said.
