(USS Exeter – Sickbay - CMO Office - ACFO, Ensign Ronnie Winters- 1014)

 "I'm tired and I'm not sure I want to be here anymore. I mean, in space,
it's been such a short time and we've all been through so much. I feel all
I've done is sign death certificates; this isn't the frontier medicine I
signed up for. Sorry, you don't need to hear that" Gabe went to pull his
hand away as a little tear formed in his eye.

"Hey, don't cry you big baby." She said with a smile.

"Look if you wanted frontier medicine you should have asked for a starbase.
Ship life is fast, dangerous. It comes with the job. And we need you and
everyone working with you. I mean yeah writing death certificates suck
major %$#^ but at least you don't have to call the families or make the
hard calls. You don;t send folks to death, you bring them back from the
brink."

hard days. But you will always have folks there to lift your spirits up."
