“Well we can pencil it in a few days from now,” she said and pushed her
bowl away “You know – I never really thought about it before. How do
Vulcans get counselling on Vulcan? Is it more running through logical steps
or is a mind meld something common in it?”



T'kel looked around then back to Hammerfield. He normally wouldn't talk
about such things but he felt as if he could trust her.

" Methods of counseling vary depending upon the situation and its depth and
urgency. Mind melding is the most effective and quickest way to understand
most issues with an individual, but it is not an effective method of
treatment. Treatment mostly involves rigorous guided meditative rituals.
These rituals are guided by distinguished members of our society. Some
outsiders may refer to these rituals reeducation exercises. "T'kel
explained. He was a bad advocate for explaining Vulcan customs he himself
rejected a few of them.
