Mission: Murder on the Exeter Express

Day: 3

Stardate2445.12.03

(USS Exeter – Deck 9 - Holodeck 3– Conus Lt(jg) Victoria Corsica – 0030)

She listened to the conversation going on around them. She knew action needed to be taken. She also knew who they were dealing with was a clear sociopath with a clear lacking of empathy. One that chose to have this showdown in this location. If that was the case She would know the weaknesses of her fortress.

"We can rule out that whoever is wholed up with in will be expecting a assault of some kind. It could very well be a trap with in a trap. Anyone who enters this room will be in the world of sociopath and subject to the rules that person dictates." Corsica spoke analyzing the mental profile of one beyond the one source of joy and amusement beyond the door before her.

Pain filled her mind as she lost contact with another mind beyond the door, as Clarke met her fate.

She hook her mind. "I've lost contact with another mind."

(reply any.)

"I don't know, the person could be dead or just unconscious, I can't tell with only being connected to surface emotions." She answered. Trying to make sense of the feeling that were bombarding her mind.

Corsica knew if she didn't do something more. Even greater harm would come to the crew. She focused she knew what risk she would be taking, she knew the risk that diving deeper would do. The deeper she dove the more connected the more she would feel the emotions as if they where her own. But in her mind she started to build that bridge.

Would the Captain allow her to take such a risk Corsica did not know. But she knew if she was gonna be of any assistance she needed to make this connection. She needed to be in place when the inevitable breech of the holodeck would occur.

Joy, Happiness, and a superior arrogance, the feeling of always being one step ahead. She reached for Maxines mind. Corsica knew this person cared little for the pain she inflicted on others but if she could reach her own sorrow, her own sadness, maybe she could break down her hard exterior shell long enough to cause her to make a mistake in her own game.

(Reply Maxine, Trip, any)
