“ Not today Lassie” he said. With that he gave her a wink. Then he bent his
head and began to idly play with his boots. Ignoring her completely.
Maxine began to laugh uncontrollably and then smiled. "Oh Stan, when will
you ever learn to not be hasty with your decision making. I have told you
repeatedly that I am willing to kill your crewmates to punish you for your
insolence. I told Sleeford that the more he begged to be hurt to protect
the others, I was going to hurt the others. When Erin was defiant I killed
Nesha. Yet here you are, ignoring me. So either you didn't think this
through, or you actually want your crewmates to die. So be it." Maxine then
played a quick game of eeny meeny miney mo and then ointed at Erin.
"Erin, have you had a good life?"
(Reply Erin)
"Pity, well when you see Tyko Nix in the afterlife, tell him I said hello."
(reply Erin iyw)
"Toodeloo."
At that moment energy surged through Erin's stasis field and into her, and
withn in second, the stasis field expanded, much as it had for Nesha and
David Clarke, as Erin's body fell to the floor, joining her two fallen
comrades.
"Well what a shame. I very much enjoyed Erin's company and I wanted to see
her make it to the end. But alas, there it is."
Maxine smiled again, "Lana, I believe its your time to say truth. Hopefully
you learned from Stan's lesson. The more you defy, the more of your
crewmates die"
(reply Lana)
(Reply Erin, Lana, any of the captured)
