Mission: Murder on the Exeter Express

Day: 3

Stardate: 2445.12.o3

(USS Exeter – Ready Room – CO, Captain Trip Williams– – 0015)

Trip had just sat down at his desk with a cup of hot cocoa when his
commvadge went off.

"Go ahead commander."

=/\=Some one just grabbed a large chunk of your staff and transported them
to Holodeck 3. Commander Bracken and I are still at OPS. I tried recalling
the transport but the system is locked out. Communications to the holodeck
is cut out as well.=/\=

"Well that's just %$#$%#@ Peachy." Trip said as he got up from his chair
and placed his hot cocoa in the replicator to be recycled.

=/\=There’s something running. I’ll try shutting down the program.=/\=

"Wait!" Trip shouted, he had a bad feeling about what might happen next.

=/\=Overload!=/\=

(reply Bracken)

"Damnit, somebody give me a %$#@#%$ Sit rep now!."

 (reply bracken)

 =/\=I seem to be in one piece.=/\= Trip heard Keira Replied


"What the hell happened?" Trip asked.

=/\=My guess would be that whomever set up the block left a present for me.
Next best chance would be at the maintenance hatch outside of the holodeck,
considering what just happened with me trying to open it remotely.=/\=

 "Bracken, what's your take on this?"

(reply Bracken)

"Ok, here is what we're going to do, I'm going to have a med team meet us
at holodeck 3.  We'll try and jimmy or way through the door, but I might
have a team go through the jeffries tubes access. Bracken call Lieutenant
Corsica, her empathic abilities are stronger than mine, might give us
something of a play by play."

(reply Bracken)

"I'll see you both there."

 Trip cut the comm channel before either could respond in the affirmative.

Tapping his commbadge once more, "Captain Williams to Lt. Ravok. Meet me in
front of Holodeck 3. We might need a sec team, small though, no more than
two. Maybe Smith and Arbor. "

(reply Ravok)

"See you there. Trip out."

He tapped it once more, "Captain to sickbay, I need a small med team, to
head to holodeck 3. It's an emergency."

=/\=This is nurse Drake, we'll have a someone out there on the double.=/\=

Trip closed the channel and punched his office wall, leaving a small dent.

He ordered a Monster energy drink from the replicator and began chugging it
as he left his ready room.
