(USS Exeter – observation Lounge – Caity DuBois – 2321)



Walking into the lounge, Caity knew that she didn't look her best and
didn't have her uniform on but she didn't want to change out of her comfy
clothes so stood a little way inside the door.



Unsure of whether to interrupt two ranking officers evidently deep in
conversation, she moved to a nearby window and gazed out of it.



Taking a glance at the two of them, the man she knew as Ire Williams,
chief flight officer. The other she knew well. Ailynn’s close friend
although, from looking at her, she didn't seem to be the firecracker that
Ailynn had told her about.



She seemed on edge, yet subdued at the same time. ~A dichotomy of emotion~

Caity thought to herself as she waited for the others to join them.
