(USS Exeter – Hallway – CSO Lt JG Erin Cortez – 2311)



Stepping out of her quarters, Erin took a few steps into the hall and
almost walked into a couple of crew. Rolling her eyes, she glared at them
and asked,



“What the…. What is going on?”



The younger crew man looked at her sheepsihly, “Ma-am, i am sorry. We heard
rumblings that we are heading for a lockdown and were trying to get back to
our quarters as soon as we could.”



Erin nodded and stepped to the side so they could pass. As they headed off
into the distance, she sighed and tapped her combadge, “Cortez to Sleeford.”



(Reply Sleeford)



“Ensign, if we are going to have this meeting, we had better do it now.
I’ve just been told that they might be sealing us down. From what i can
gather, it’s going to be soon so i suggest we meet now. Deck one,
observation lounge. I’ll contact the others.”



(Reply Sleeford)



“Understood, Cortez out.”



Tapping her combadge again, Erin spoke calmly, “Cortez to Lieutentant
Williams, Ensign More and Miss Dubois, Please come to the observation
Lounge, Deck 1 as soon as possible.”



(Reply More, Dubois, Williams)



Walking into the turbolift, as the doors closed, Erin leant back on the
wall and told the computer to take her to deck 1. Closing her eyes, she
thought to herself, ~What could possibly go wrong now.~
