(USS Exeter- Science labs- COO Ensign (sg) Paul Sleeford 20:15)

Sleeford stood in the science department looking for commander Merek, seeing movement from behind one of the vertical support pylons, walking forward he stopped four feet in front of her and by nature aspired parade rest and waited. After a few second she spoke.

Ensign Sleeford, thanks for being so… prompt.” She said finally finding the word she wished to use.
 
Nodding once he half smiled, “ I’m little early Commander Merek”

 
“I would like you to go set up lab seven for acoustics analysis while I wait on the final member of our team.”
 
Resisting the urge to salute Sleeford settled for a quick nod,” might take me longer then your guys Commander, it’s been a while”
 
“We’ll join you when she gets here, thank you.” 

Walking towards lab number seven, Sleeford wondered in passing who the other member of the team was and why he was here, he assumed there where more competent science officers who could have set up the lab, unless the commander was expecting trouble.

Making a slight detour to check the emergency weapons locker behind the bulkhead Sleeford nodded in satisfaction that the three hand phasers where there, closing the panel and resetting the controls he headed to lab seven. Entering he began setting it up for acoustic work.
