(USS Exeter – Science Labs – SPC Sec/tac Ensign T'kel  – 2234)

“Mister T’kel – can I borrow you a moment please?”Ensign Hammerfield asked.

 T'kel walked out of his position and approached her.

 She waved him closer into earshot so she could whisper, “Was that normal?”

 He stepped closer to her , with his arms folded behind his back and raised
an eyebrow.

" The head of security personally checking on members of the crew? " He
asked.



“Well I mean – did that look like normal behaviour for him?” she asked.

 With a slight tilt of his head he took a breath. " I have observed that
Lieutenant Ravok is rather friendly among the crew. He's.. "T'kel   paused
to think of the word.

" Jovial, he exhibits behavior unusual for a Romulan."



“He said you spoke to him of my involvement in the investigation. You
didn’t mention any of the details for it did you? That was to stay between
us,” she paused, “Did you speak to him at all?”

 " I did, However I did not give him the full details of your test. I told
him that you were assisting me with the investigation and that we needed to
use a science lab. He authorized my overtime status so that I could remain
on duty. Doing so allowed me to be here to protect you. " T'kel

He looked at her. " I follow orders and follow procedure , but I will not
compromise trust with a fellow officer. If you want to know about my
assessment of you to him, I told him you were determined, resourceful,
experienced and of logical and sound mind."
