"Ire I'm on the bridge wearing civvies and I'm holding a unicorn blanket,not necessarily sure this is the time. I've got a two year old who is desperatelywaiting for me to come back with her blankie."

 

“Sorry Captain.”

 

"Look, how long is this request gonna take, isit going to be a long one?"

 

“It will only take a moment Captain.”

"Ok Ire, I'll give you five minutes.  I'm sure Ronnie is antsy for meto get home, plus we have an admiral coming on board today and I don't want tobe around in a sweatshirt when he shows up. That being said, what's up?"

Ire nodded

 

“I was speaking to Lieutenant Commander Na’Rel atyour party last night. We were talking about the Charon and I was wondering ifI could take her for some manoeuvres with the some of the first fighter wing.”

 

He paused for a moment.

 

“That’s if we have enough time before departure?”
