(Earth - Overlooking San Francisco Bay - aACMO Ensign SG Heinrich Kruze - 0701)

Heinrich was walking along San Fransisco Bay, feeding his nerves. He could not sleep all night, knowing that he had a meeting with the captain at 1100. Thinking back on the past month Heinrich mostly saw failures. The failure to keep Trinity safe. The failure to keep Ronnie as a teenager. And, most importantly, Judge Bean had opened old wounds, reminding him of past failures. Failures he had done his best to run away from. He still didn’t know if anyone else had read the script in the Toronto dimension, he also didn’t know how to ask.

He kept his head down, for the most part, focusing on the different cracks in the sidewalk and doing his best not to step on them (it is an ancient proverb that doing so may break one’s mother’s back). He had missed the beautiful dawn, the gulls flying along the shore, the birdsong, the fresh sea air. But what he couldn’t miss was the Hellenian who had summoned him on a cool San Francisco morning.

"Doctor, totes thank you for coming. Like your sunrises are Amazeballs." She said. 

Heinrich stared at her confused. “What?”

"Like the way it dances on the water, its like da bomb dot com.” 

“What are you talking about?”
