(USS Exeter - Astrometrics Lab - CSO Lieutenant Erin Cortez - 1903)



Walking into the lab, Erin sighed. Since being back on Earth, she had had
to explain and give over most if not all of her research, design schematics
and all data pertaining to the Empress and the signal blockers. The scans
of Andromeda had been handed over too.



Thinking back to what Captain Williams had said, she knew that her
department had taken a significant hit and they were all down and feeling a
bit less than they should be. “Now is the time to do something about it.
Show them what they do matters and that i need them as much as they need
me.”



Thinking for a second, Erin took a breath and tapped her combadge,
“Lieutenant Cortez to all science staff. Please report to the Astrometrics
lab on the Exeter by 2000 hours. This is unofficial so if you are with your
family, please stay there. If you have the time, i look forward to seeing
you in an hour. Cortez out.”
