(USS Exeter - Ready Room - 2O/CEO, Lt. Cmdr. Keira Merek - 1405)

"Well, I'm sure there are probably times where Ash wishes he had." Trip
said with a laugh.

"When you begin living together, you see it all, not just the good parts.
That's something I'm sure I learned from this whole thing. If only I knew
about nanite infection sooner." Keira said with a splash of regret. ~It's
something I should have thought of, the one medical malady I could do
something about.~

"I know that there is a theory that by frying the nanites you caused there
to be some peramences in the inversion, screwing up his brain. But
sometimes, I look at our whole history together, and I wonder if that is
who he was all along. Paranoid, ruthless, calculating, destructive. As if
he decided to stop pretending to be something else, stopped pretending to
be what he thought he was supposed to be, rather than who he wanted to be."

"If I know Ravok, I don't think we'll get the chance to know until his
autopsy, whatever he has planned he's all-in now." Keira admitted.

 "How's the quarters modification coming along? Seems like yesterday I
laid-in the gamma welds for the bulkheads myself..." Keira didn't feel like
talking about Ravok anymore.
