(USS Exeter - Ready Room -CMO Lieutenant JG Heinrich Kruze - 1105)

"Would probably be dead." Trip said reassuringly.

“I had ample time to save her,” Heinrich said. “And she nearly died. She’s a toddler.”

"Either way, she would have been stuck at whatever age you managed to stop it. Only way to regain the age of 23 was the long way. You saved her life doc, and now she has a second chance. She gets to grow up in a world that wasn't devastated by the empress. She gets to grow up in a world with her parents. Had you not, had you not stopped the process she would have died. You allowed her to have a second chance.”

“But it wasn’t on account of my expertise. I was only lucky.”

"Sometimes, its better to be lucky than good.”

“I, I suppose you’re right.” In this moment Heinrich considered himself very lucky.
