=^= One this is five,one`s on my tail I can`t shake him=^=

“This is one hang onfive we are on our way.”

“Ire they`re jamming usI can`t see nothing…..no, no wait I have five. Brake hard right now. Come to089 by 105.”

Came the voice ofSonnolo from the rear seat.

He grunted as theg-force piled on as the fighter came screaming around onto its new course. 

“Ire we are beinglocked up jink, jink.”

He had not fullyregistered Sonnolo`s cry before he fired the maneuvering thrusters and thefighter lurched upwards. It felt like an elephant had swan dived onto his chestas he fought to keep the blood from draining into his boots as he spun thefighter onto another course.

“Ire down and aroundFive should be 3 o’clock on this heading.”



Ire dropped the fighterand turned interposing another fighter in between them and their pursuer.   He sawfive dancing through space trying to evade the fighter that was pursuing it. 

“Five this is One brakeleft in three, two, one.”

He watched as Fiveturned left and the perusing fighter moved to follow as it came into hisengagement range. 

“Firing phasers.” CameSonnolo`s replay as she opened up with the fighter’s phaser arsenal. He saw theperusing fighter`s shields pop and it stagger sideways as the shots slammedhome. He yelled in triumph as it disintegrated but his triumph died as he sawFive being ripped apart as it exploded from phaser fire of a second fighter asit rocketed past them.

“Requiem æternam donaei, Domine. Et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescatin pace. Amen.”

The reply of Amenbrought him back and leaving that once hellish time to memory. He blinked acouple of times, took a deep breath to steady himself and began to move as theother began to disperse.
