Mission: The Flames of PurityDay: 16Stardate: 2445:09:16
(Gamma Quadrant Planet - Temple Grounds- CIO/3O Lieutenant Jaelle Foxglove 1203)
The team had made decent time and they had made it to the Temple grounds. The guards fell with relative ease, one of them managed to get a shot off but no alarms. Jaelle was silent she saw More take the brunt of the blast but here was not the place to stop and render first aid.
They entered the Temple, a area that should offer some semblance of cover, an area that would allow the small team a place to catch their breath and tend to wounds, but behind the pulpit, stood another foe.
Ravok stood before him as the Dr. Vesper moved to More's side. It was clear do to bravado that the man before him was clearly the man that lead the terrorist group.
Jaelle came up to Ravok's side ask the people spoke out. Jaelle glanced around the room something did not sit well with her. The before them was over confident to an alarming degree. It also seemed like he was stalling and soon they were gonna fall under attack.
Then Jost pointed to each as if reading the hearts of each of the team, Jaelle anger began to rise. This man assumed her knew anything of her life what she bore was sorely mistaken.
She positioned herself shifting her weight readying to spring into motion at the first sign of attack.
Then Jost's foot hit the ground. Jaelle's speed was her greatest weapon by the time the ground shook beneath her feet she had already spring boarded off a pew and into the air. She leveled her phaser rifle prepared to take deadly aim but by a wave of Jost hand her trajectory changed and she flew. Her back slamming into a wall. Jaelle could taste blood in her mouth as the impact knocked the breath from her causing her to gasp. Her head bounced of the wall hard before she fell to the ground, as bits of the stone cut into her skin and blood began to flow from her wounds. She fell to the flood and her consciousness started to fade.
There was a calmness that came over Jaelle as her redness came over her vision. A redness that faded as she began to rise. A soft melodious chuckle came from her lips as she found her feet. A noticeable difference, a darkness fell of Jaelle as she stared down Jost as a hawk would a chicken. Because where Jaelle ended Lily awoke.
"You aren't the only one possessed." Her dark sing song voice carried over the temple."
