(USS Exeter –Main Shuttle Bay– CFO-  Lieutenant– Ire Williams- 0951)



Ire walkedacross the shuttle bay heading back towards the Brocken Bow when the commchannel activated.



=^=Bridge toLt. Williams, have the shuttle bay prep the Michaelangelo. Ravok's team cantake the Leonardo, Merek's the Michaelangelo, I need you to take the Broken Bowalong with Master Chief Brown, Ensign Page, and Ensign Alexander. Go back tothe spot where we fought the Interceptor and check the wreckage. I'm sendingyou Merek's briefing. They probably have escape pods coated with sensorreflective hulls which will make them hard to locate, but I think the four ofyou can do it. Find whatever you can that you think is important to salvage andsecure it, but be careful. This group has been known to place explosive devicesin escape pods=^=

 

He paused for a moment as he took in the information. 

 

“Understoodsir we will be careful and not underestimate them.”



=^=You areclear for departure as soon as your team is ready=^=


“We will go as soon as they all arrive Sir.”

 
He turnedtowards the Michaelangelo. He knew that he would have to be quick before Merek arrived to make it ready. He walked around the shuttle scrutinizing it for anydefects or damage. Once he was happy, he opened the hatch, stepped into theshuttle as the door opened and slid into the chair. 


 

“Computerbegin pre-flight checks.”

 

He watched asthe console in front of him lit up. He watched as the main computer came inline.

 

~Okay thatlooks good~

 

His eyescanned the read outs.

 

~Okay warpdrive is powering up to standby the matter and anti matter is with in safety margins~

 
He glanced atthe impulse engines as it fluttered to life. 
~Okay that looks good~
He examined the shuttles systems making sure that there was nothing untoward that he had missed. Once he was happy placed the shuttle into standby and headed back out into the shuttle bay. He tapped hiscomm badge as he close the shuttle's hatch. 
“LieutenantWilliams to Lieutenants Merek and Ravok. Your shuttles have been prepped and pre-flighted. They are ready for you in the main shuttle bay.”
