(USS Exeter - Deck 9 Nine and Dine - Civilian Caity Dubois - 09:27)


Standing in the kitchen behind the bar, Caity ran a rag over the counter
and sighed. The bar was a mess. She could only surmise that either someone
had been in here during the night or that security had been through looking
for evidence against her.

Her mind was a wash of moments, feelings, memories. So much so, she didn’t
hear anyone enter the bar until a voice broke the moment,

"Service"

Walking out, rag over her arm, she put a smile on her face and said, “Good
morning, Ensign. Sorry about the state of the establishment at the moment.”


"Hi, open for a sandwich?"

“I can probably manage a bacon roll if that would do?”

“Of course.” Turning to head back into the kitchen, Caity stopped for a
moment and then turned back,

“Ensign Sleeford isn’t it?”

(Reply Sleeford)

“It seems we are part of a very select group you and i.”

(Reply Sleeford)

“Well, there are five of us. Five that have been either questioned or near
enough accused of murder.”
