(USS Exeter –Observation Lounge – CO, Captain Trip Williams - 1225)

" The time of death doesn't add up. Not that I am doubting your abilities
in conducting an autopsy, but I can't find the logic in how a dead man
called security "

"Well Lieutenant, it is as the great detective once said, 'Once you
eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must
be the truth.' While it may seem illogical for a deadman to call security,
it does not defy logic that someone would impersonate the deceased to call
security and begin this....goose chase we are on. It does add up to why
someone would bash his skull in post mortem then stash the weapon."

"Look we have many different pieces of the puzzle, but not a clear picture,
and most of you have been working all night. We don't need to burn you guys
out. Why don't we break for lunch. Take some time to get re energized and a
nap if you need it. We will reconvene at 1330."

"Whoever we are dealing with, they've gone through great lengths to throw a
lot of red herrings in front of us. Get some rest. Who knows, maybe taking
your eyes off of the big picture will clear up some things. Who knows.

Trip waited as the trio began to get up and leave, but subtley made his way
over to Ailynn before she could leave. "Commander, a moment?"
