(USS Exeter - Bridge - Ensign JG Matthew Fuller - 0347)

Matthew heard the commotion around him and tried to pay attention to his
console. He then Lt. Cmdr Merek speak.

"Ops, once the Broken Bow and Muskogee are away, it will be your job to
keep an open channel with the away teams. Keep in constant contact. I don't
want anything to happen without us knowing. Being as we can't transport the
Muskogee back once they reach atmosphere, we'll need extra time to send
another shuttle for a rescue if it's required. Understood?

"Aye ma'am, understood loud and clear. Switching to comms channel now and
doing a checkup with both shuttles". He nodded as he spoke and straightened
up a bit. He really didn't want to make a mess of things like he had
earlier. He also wanted her to have a slightly better opinion of him and
the only way to do that was to do well at his job.

He switched to the right channel for the shuttles and started speaking.

"This is Ensign Matthew Fuller of Operations, checking in with both Broken
Bow and Muskogee. I'll be your first point of contact throughout this
mission. Checking to see that all communications are working. Please
respond"'.
