(USS Exeter - Bridge - Ensign JG Matthew Fuller - 0316)

“Helm. Lock into source of SOS, drop out of warp at navpoint 0526mark12.
You are then ordered to launch a runabout to do a fast pass and download
what information you can recover. rejoin the Exeter at point 0619mark48.
lay in a course. make ready Warp Seven, then make room for Miss Frost at
Helm as you prepare."



"Mr Sleeford you are to accompany Lieutenant Williams. Make ready. Mr
Fuller, maintain Main Ops, You are to keep radio contact with the runabout
at all times."


Matthew nodded as he was given his instructions, he was still feeling
slightly embarrassed about what had happened but it was time to move on and
put the work in that needed to be done. He checked his console to ensure
that everything was working between him and the runabout.


"Kiera, inform all stations that we are moving out, make sure Hammerfield
is ready for all changes in our power needs. Inform Cortez that I expect
results on her project as soon as."


"Ops, maintain an ear on local, and distant traffic. If it's an SOS then
they expected to be heard, make sure we know what's what."


Matthew nodded and spoke this time.


"Aye Ma'am, comms open with runabout and scanning for local traffic,
nothing so far. Detecting a slight buzzing noise on distant sensors, unable
to pinpoint exact location at this stage. Will continue working on it".

He continued to run the scanner all the while keeping an ear out ready for
communications with runabout. He also managed to listen to what was going
on around him in case he was given more instructions.


"Commander Ravok, Threat assessment. report on door-to-door on the
Captain's location. Please tell me he was entertaining Mrs Williams."


Matthew saw a light flashing on his console and looking down quickly he
spoke up.


:"Captain! There seems to be some kind of energy coming of that object out
there. Trying to work out what is at the moment".
