EXETERNRPG: (1, 0110) Ensign JG Matthew Fuller

Mission: Andromeda's Chain
Day: 1
Stardate: 2446.01.03

(USS Exeter - Bridge - Ensign JG Matthew Fuller - 0110)

Matthew was seated at his console trying to make sense of what was going on
when he felt somebody standing behind him. Turning he saw a female crew
member standing there introducing himself. Looking a bit closer he saw that
she outranked him.

"Hello ma'am, yes I'm Ensign Fuller. Pleasure to make your acquaintance".
He nodded towards her in greeting and watched as she took her place at the
station. Turning back to the screen before him he continued to ponder what
was going on,

He shook his head as she asked if he knew what was going on/

"Afraid not. I've been trying to make sense of what's going on but nothing
jumps out at me. I'm also trying to work out any non essential areas that I
can shut down in case we need to".

He smiled as she spoke about Risa, he had never been there but it was
something he would think about after this mission.

"I'm going to take your word for it, that it would be a good place to be,
I've never been there".

He shook his head at her question.

"I'm afraid not, it's all a bit blurry. I do vaguely remember there being
good coffee somewhere but apart from that nothing for some reason".

He paused for a moment and then turned to her.

"If you don't mind me asking I have two questions. First what exactly was
going on in the other world? I mean I don't remember  much but was it a
test or a kidnapping of some sort? And secondly, this being my first actual
mission and red alert on Exeter, when do you think we will hear from the
command staff about what is going?"

He hoped that his questions weren't out of line but sat back and waited
either for a response from Lt. Winters or for the whole situation to reveal
itself.
