Kora Shara is a civilian specialist engineer . She is contracted by the federation to assist starfleet on Mars and on ship if necessary. She is a skilled engineer and served 19 years aboard a civilian freighter called the Darmod. She is skilled at fixing everything from replicators to warp cores. If its broken she will fix it . She is the step mother of starfleet officer, Ensign jg Ravok Shara. She is currently a widow. Kora is fluent in Romulan, Klingon . She is direct and to the point . But is also very friendly and strongly encourages others to do their best at all times .
