While in the Marine Corps, during a fitness evaluation for promotion to Gunnery Sergeant, the psychologist at the academy wrote in his dossier “Staff Sergeant Charles Temerity exhibit a rare resourcefulness, and regularly utilizes unorthodox methods to achieve objectives which tends to get him in trouble with the officers appointed over him.”

Skills

Has working knowledge of Pirate tactics and smuggling. Marine Corps trained in close quarters and urban warfare; cargo and troop transport; and Logistics. He is also an accomplished pilot and duelist. Regularly qualifies Expert on pistols and heavy repeaters, yet has difficulty qualifying with a rifle.

Despite spending most of his life as a Marine or working aboard freightliners, Charles conducts himself more like a John Wayne style Cowboy than anything else.

Gregory noticed that the Captain had joined in the fun.
