Grk resembels a large Kodiak bear from Earth. He is covered from the tip of his pointy ears to his hind paws in a thick dark brown fur. Large muscles can be seen rippling beneath his thick fur. He walks with a lumbering gait, slightly slumped forward

Grk is the son of Zzt the first member of his species to join Star Fleet. Grk's mother is a doctor and has never set paw off their home world.

Grk was born and raised on Gerratlian IV. He did not leave his home world till he decided to follow in his fathers paw prints and join Star Fleet.

Grk learned a lot about engineering from his father, it is also how he learned he had his fathers talent for engineering. A rare talent among his people. Gerratlians are naturally incredibly strong and have a very strong sense of smell.
