DAY 3

(USS Hades - Deck 1- Bridge- LT Commander Tinmanrion Jayc-1538
The coaxial drive had successfully transported them through light years of space in a way that had a sensation of being bent and stretched while not really feeling like you had moved at all. Jayc grabbed his console as a very minor wave of nausea threatened to hit him. He breathed through it as he scanned the information.
They weren’t in the right place? He scanned the sensors. They confirmed these were not the right coordinates and he looked at the second screen to the readings derived during the travel as well. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. How would they end up in the wrong….
There was a loud thud and a wrenching sound. Jayc turned to see Cal Dogan go down. Moments later he vanished in a transporter beam. Was medical alerted that quickly? Then consoles began to spark and fire power fluctuated. Screens died. He jumped back as his sparked then the thrusters fired unexpectedly jerking him to port. The gravity cut out and a sphere with hissing sounds sailed passed him and the captain. He opened his mouth to warn her, but his feet left the ground snd the world titled as he felt his body crumple and everything fade to unconsciousness.

HADESRPG: (4 - 1532) CMO - Lt. Dural Methor DrPH

Mission: Homecoming
Day: 4
Stardate: 2446.10.19
(USS Hades - Sickbay - CMO, Lt Dural Methor DrPH - 1532)
Dural had never been part of an Engineering experiment... study.. before.
It was his duty to determine if the jump had any untoward effects on
biology that had been unreported or undiscovered. The incidents on Rutia IV
with a similar transportation method based on the Elway Theorem scaled down
for personal transport causing subtle eventually fatal shifts on the atomic
level, Starfleet Medical was understandably cautious. Dural had staged
several simpler life forms contained in incubators at several points
throughout the ship, a slosh of phytoplankton , a culture of harmless
staphylococcus, a nice batch of scarlet moss, all to confirm if this method
of travel has any affect on any type of lifeform.
Reports came in, the big jump happened. "And that's it." Dural announced,
"Does anyone feel any different?"
(Reply any, not required)
"Team alpha head forward to station one. Report back your findings." Dural
said, making a note. "Team beta, amidships..." noting again. "and last but
not least, gamma will go aft ventral. Any questions?"
"Sir, the sickbay doors won't open." one of the team members announced.
Just at that time, the lights flickered and the gravity went out.
Dural slapped his combadge as he began floating into the air. "Sickbay to
bridge." A few heavy moments went by, nothing. "Sickbay to engineering."
Another moment went by with no response.
"We now have a problem."

HADESRPG: (4-1533) Lounge Manager - Kalistan
From: almuir62 at gmail.com (Al Muir)
Date: Sat, 16 May 2026 23:32:01 -0700
Mission: Homecoming
Day: 4
Stardate: 2446.10.19
(USS Hades - Deck 9 - Nine and Dine Lounge - Lounge Manager - Kalistan -
1533)
The lunch crowd had been smaller than usual, but this was not really odd
for the ship considering its purpose for being where they were going.
People weren’t generally hungry for the food they prepared when they were a
little on edge. Kalistan expected the business to pick up by dinner time,
and he had already warned the staff to expect the dinner time rush,
probably starting around 1800 or so. Of course the Risian was always a
positive thinker.
Betsy, the head waitress, was Betazoid, which came in hand in the
hospitality game, as she could always anticipate what the customers might
enjoy, had just gone through the staffing for the evening when she stopped
and dropped the tray she was carrying. She turned back and looked him.
“Kal,” she said, sounding scared, “something’s wrong.”
“Wrong?” Kalistan said questioningly. “What are you thinking?”
She moved over to a replicator and pressed some buttons, “The replicators
aren’t working.”
AS he turned to move over to the replicator the lights flickered and went
out. Then, all of a sudden, his feet gave way. Actually they really just
stop making contact with the deck flooring. He <http://flooring.he> began
to float inches above the floor.
“What the…” his mind couldn’t comprehend what was going on. Kalistan
manage to touch the ground with his foot and pushed himself towards the
wall. Salt and pepper shakers bounced of his body as he floated through
the room. Finally he made contact with the wall with a thud. He walked
his hands across the wall until he reached the comm system.
“Nine and Dine to the bridge, we’ve lost gravity and power down here?”

Keira heard an unleashing of fluid, like someone poured a bucket full of
liquid onto the deck. As she turned around to look the gravity gave out and
she felt a rush of air and all she could see was a green cloud as she tried
to hold her grip on the Captain's chair.
~We're under attack.~
She inhaled to speak her command urgently, instead of air, she absorbed a
lungful of green gas."Computer, this is Captain Keira Merek,
lock....out...."
She probably would have seen the room spinning as she became dizzy and
weak.

HADESRPG: (4 - 1537) Science Officer Ensign Lethor
From: docholladay2021 at gmail.com (Todd Holladay)
Date: Sat, 2 May 2026 23:31:31 -0500
Mission: Homecoming
Day: 4
Stardate: 2446.10.19
(USS Hades - Deck 1 - Bridge - Science Officer - Ensign Lethor - 1537)
It was amazing the things one could do with enough planning and
preparation. Lethor stood infront of the Security Chief of the starship
they were about to rob blind. His uniform and fabricated file showed he was
a Aamaarazan, who because of the atmosphere of their home planet and
biology could not survive in standard Federation atmosphere. This of
course, is a complete fabrication. The head to toe clothing standard of the
Aamaarazan culture in reality held sensor feedback units that told any
sensor scan he was who he appeared to be. The standard breathing apparatus
strapped to his back instead of converting standard nitrogen oxygen
atmosphere into something breathable for Aamaarazan physiology, stored some
of his tools.
The bulky Security Chief doubled down onto his knees and released from his
oral cavity something that Lethor imagined would smell very foul. He smiled
a smile that no one saw beneath his mask.
~A plan is a plan.~
"Transport." he said. On that command the Brikar disappeared into a
transporter beam. Alouron was very particular. No one dies, unless they try
to stop those in on the job. The transporter had to be used on the Brikar,
all the readouts they could get on the species preparing for this mission
said that Brikars could punch through a bulkhead and could likely shrug off
anything except maximum particle weapon settings. Keeping him locked away
in a transporter buffer using a veridian chip to lock on was one of the
only ways to accomplish the task, while still adhering to the specificity
of their orders.
In the confusion Lethor reached into the storage container on his back and
released two baseball sized objects. Just as the gravity kicked off he
released the spheres. They tumbled down between the Captain and first
officer and the Captain and second officer. They struck the deck and with
no gravity to hold them down they bounced lazily to about chest height to a
standing person. They released a high pressure green gas that enveloped the
center section of the bridge.
(Reply Williams, Jayc, Merek)
Unable to see through the deep green mist he could see the OPS and Helm
gripping their consoles to stay in their seats. The pirate slapped the
under panel and allowed the type II phaser to eject into his hand. He
leveled the weapon at the officers he could see. Two quick bursts of orange
light and the Helm and OPS officers slumped to the side, tangled into their
stations but very much alive.
His mask kept him safe from the knockout gas that could drop a Klingon, but
the lifesupport systems would quickly clear out the gas. So Lethor adjusted
the phaser to a wide ninety degree beam and waited to see if anyone exited
the gas.

Day: 4
Stardate: 2446.10.19
(USS Hades - Deck 1 - Main Engineering - Engineering Officer - Ensign
Meezem - 1538)
An alert went off on Meezem’s power relay station. He’d been running
random diagnostics on the transporter systems, and nothing should be
getting transported right now. The Roylan’s fingers tapped at the display
and his eyes did the closest proximity to squinting that they were capable
of.
His finger trailed the path of the power flow and cocked his head to the
right. That was his little way of saying, “That doesn’t look right.” No,
it did not look right at all. He downloaded the feed to his PADD and
jumped off his stool. Then he made his way across the engineering deck to
Lt. Aluron. He stopped beside her, grabbed the edge of her tunic and
tugged at it.
“Lt. Aluron, I have a problem,” he said in his quiet voice.
(reply Aluron)
“It seems someone has activated the transporter system,” he reported,
showing the tall Orion his PADD. “And if I am not mistaken, something is
being held in the pattern buffer… here.”

Mission: Homecoming
Day: 4
Stardate: 2446.10.19
(USS Hades - Deck 1 - Bridge - Science Officer - Ensign Lethor - 1540)
Lethor saw the turbulence in the green gas indicating someone had moved. He
depressed the firing actuator, the wide beam struck the deck in front of
the command seats. More movement, he fired another shot and struck a
console. The screen went dark as the display shorted.
"Which one is it? The Captain...?" A brief moment passed. "No blade
hurtling towards my head, probably not her. The Betazoid?"
(Reply Ire)
The gas was now less opaque and what was in it or on the other side of it
could be made out. He saw a figure in red command colors crouching behind
the console that was just shot. "Oh, good afternoon, Commander! Not so
tough without your fighter..."
(Reply Ire)
"This is Lethor, I'm meeting resistance on the bridge. Cut it off, no
power."
=^= Understood.=^=
"Look, Commander, I've been given orders not to kill any of you." He said
keeping the phaser leveled in the officer's direction.
(Reply Ire)
"Of course if you resist, that guarantee goes away. What we're after is
worth a rather large fortune, but it doesn't have to cost anyone their
life."

Day: 4
Stardate: 2446.10.19
(USS Hades - Deck 1 - Bridge - FO- CMDR – Ire Williams - 1542)
"Which one is it? The Captain...?"
Ire heard a voice drifting through the smoke as he hadhunkered down lower behind the command chair.
"Noblade hurtling towards my head, probably not her. The Betazoid?"
“Keep talking idiot.” He muttered to himself as he focusedtowards the sound of the voice.
As the gas thinned, he saw an Aamaarazan standingnear the tactical console wearing a science uniform and Ensign pips.
"Oh, good afternoon, Commander! Not so toughwithout your fighter..."
“Ensign why are you doing this?”
"This is Lethor, I'm meeting resistance on the bridge. Cut it off, nopower."
=^= Understood.=^=
"Look, Commander, I've been given orders notto kill any of you."
Ire felt the gravity generators totally disengageas well as the emergency lights flicker on bathing the bridge in ominous light. He saw that Lethor was still pointing his phaser in his direction.
“That’s very gracious of you?” he said as he lookedaround the bridge.
"Of course if you resist, that guarantee goes away. What we're after isworth a rather large fortune, but it doesn't have to cost anyone theirlife."
~Okay I can get to Lethor but it will have to fast~
The problem with moving in Zero-g was that it wasmovements was always in straight lines. Which if Lethor was quick enough hewould get shot before he got to him. Once he got to Lethor it would be adifferent matter, but he had to get their first. He spied a spied two pads thatwere floating near him and grabbed them.
“And what are you after?”
(Reply Lethor)
~Okay let’s do this~
He through one towards the far corner of the bridge, the next right at Lethor’s head and then pushed off hard on a direction thatwould send him past Lethor but with in arms reach. His mind slowed as hefocused on Lethor as he floated towards him. This was always the hardest partof zero-g work. His trajectory was set and he could not change it until hereached a solid object which meant that he was an easy target. He reached outas he reached Lethor’s arm, gripping tight as he used it as a fulcrum as heswung past. His feet hooked onto the console as he passed using his momentum todrag Lethor past him and into a bulkhead.

HADESRPG: (4-1545) Pirate CO Karl

Date: Sat, 9 May 2026 10:19:57 -0700
Mission: Homecoming
Day: 4
Stardate: 2446.10.19
(OSS Opportunity - Deck 1 - Bridge- CO - Karl - 1545)
Karl sat in the command seat of the modified Wanderer Class Orion blockade
runner. I had been modified to become more of a cargo ship. It had
several other modifications that made it quite useful to the pirate
lifestyle it was being used for, including a cloaking device. They had
been sitting off the port side of the Federation starship, waiting to be
contacted to take in their … booty. The Orion smiled at the thought of the
word.
His usual business had been in the slave market, but that had started on a
decline over the past ten years or so. Looting other shops had become more
prosperous. And if he were honest, partnering up with Alouron had other
benefits.
However things were moving slower than he’d expected and the big Orion was
getting concerned.
“Anything?” he growled impatiently.
“No,” Bohmog Mul replied, his voice carrying his exasperation at the
captain. “Wait, I’m coming transmission .”
=^=This is Lethor, I'm meeting resistance on the bridge. Cut it off, no
power.=^=
“Let’s hope Alouron got her device attached to their power grid,” Karl said
as much to himself as the others.
He nodded to Krista who tapped the keys at the Ops station.
“It’s active Karl,” she announced.
“Then cut it,” Karl ordered. “And be ready with the transporter.”
A moment later Krista smiled, “Power is now cut to the bridge. All power.
That includes life support.”
“Then I guess Lethor better squash that resistance quickly, Karl said with
a chuckle.

“And what are you after?”
"A little fame, some latinum thrown my way, wouldn't mind some
companionship." The disguised Orion laughed at his own joke. "I get a bonus
if no one dies....but to be fair..."
He couldn't finish the thought a piece of equipment sped past him, a
distraction. The second one hurtled right at his head, and he instinctively
brought his hands up, and deflected it. The Commander was within arm's
reach before he knew it, seemingly flying through the air. Lethor swung his
phaser up trying to get a firing solution.
It seemed to fall right into the pilot's plan. He gripped the outstretched
phaser arm, using the momentum he got the pirate spinning. Before Lethor
knew it, he was hurtling twoard the starboard bulkhead. The impact knocked
the wind out of him, and he lost the grip on the phaser that went tumbling
toward the aft stations.
(Reply Ire)
"It'll be worth losing the bonus to kill you!" He spat in his mask as he
pushed off the bulk head toward the tumbling phaser.

Ire braced himself as Lethor hit the bulkhead. Ifhe was not careful, he would go spinning off across the bridge.
“You get a bonus?”
"It'll be worth losing the bonus to kill you!"
He felt Lethor force out of his grip and saw him pushoff towards the phaser Lethor had been holding which had spun out of his handwhen Ire had slammed him into the bulkhead.
~Ow no you don’t~
He coiled his legs under him as he watched thetrajectory of the phaser and Lathor. There was not way that he was going to getto the phaser before Lethor but he just needed to stop Lethor.
He launched himself at an engineering console, grabhold, reorientate, stabilise and launch again. This was done with muscle memory.Years of training and repetitive movement making it almost instinctual.
He slammed into Lethor’s back sending them both outof reach of the phaser and hard into the back of chair.

Stardate: 2446.10.19
(OSS Opportunity - Deck 1 - Bridge- CO - Karl - 1550)
Karl watched the screen, seeing no signs of anything changing. He hadn’t
heard anymore from Alouron. He hadn’t heard any more from Lethor. For an
Orion who prided himself for being in control of every aspect of a mission,
this lack of information was maddening.
He spun in his chair and looked at Orion woman sitting at the science
station. There had been others who had voiced concern about putting a
female in such a critical role, but Karl was quite progressive in his
beliefs. Orion women came in handy, and Sy’ndy was quite exceptional.
Sy’ndy, scan the bridge for life signs that are moving,” he had assumed
that some how things had been misjudged with the use of the gas.
“Yes,” Sy’ndy replied with her soft voice, “I have Lethor and another
lifeform. They appear to be locked in a physical struggle.”
“Damn Lethor,” Karl cursed, “I should have known he was too weak for any
contingent action Lock onto the other lifeform and transport him to our
cargo hold and put him in a security field.”
Sy’ndy smiled and let out an evil giggle, “You got it.”
Her fingers did a little dance over the controls and the ships sensors
locked onto the other ships bridge. She found the two lifesigns that were
moving. The Orion signature was easy to single out. Anything else moving
was a naughty boy and needed to be put on time out.
“Transporting now,” she said and activated the transporter.
