Needless to say, it was not a popular detail. But somebody had to do it. It was
when he opened a message from the Embassy on Farius Prime, that J’ck rolled his

Embassy was located in the capital of New Romulus and seemed to be on the side
of the city that got the most rain. Officially, it was simply in another
neighborhood of the city. But the people who lived there called it Little Qo’nos.

and the staff. Outside of that came an outer ring with a Klingon restaurant, a
warehouse and the shuttle hangar. Finally, there was a thick wall to keep unwanted
visitors out. Two large gates provided the only access. Officially, the only
buildings there were watchtowers integrated into the wall. But over the years,
a shanty town had grown up against the inside of the wall. This was home to dozens
of half-blood Klingons who had been drawn here over from all over Romulan
space. There was no shanty town on the outside of the wall, because a wide
channel prevented construction on that side. Recently, however, the town was beginning
to expand to the roofs of the warehouse and the hangar. </span></p>

Due to time differences between Farius Prime and New Romulus, there was a fair
chance that he was waking Chief Shep’rd. But it could simply not be helped.
Finally, there was a beep and Shep’rd appeared. As expected, he had been asleep.
~And he looks like it.~ His hair was a mess and his uniform looked disheveled. </span></p>

planning to do. Still, they would have to be careful. Only time would tell if
