It had been an exciting day, with a fight in the rec room between two groups of flyboys. One had been KOed, and he was sure it had been the female pilot there. With paperwork done, he wasn't sure what to do.
His shift finished, he went to the bunkroom and found a message inviting him to someplace called the Hamptons, and something called the Shadow Pines. Realizing that it was an open invitation, he wondered if the Hammons might be taking Leeza. While things continued to settle, he tried to stay close to the young lady, but was still unsure of the Hammons.
He sat at a computer terminal and called up what he could find about this Shadow Pines place. He let out a low whistle as the images of the space were displayed. He began to study the plans. He always felt better knowing where he was heading, and maybe, not that he'd admit this, but a leftover habit from his rough and tumble youth.

P'Rah had seen the Hammons arrive with Leeza. He stayed hidden, so as
not to distract Leeza from trying to bond. She had promised to try to
be a young lady, but she could be a lit stick of dynamite and he was
pretty sure she didn't like Dr. Solice.

He watched as a man opened the door, and invited the three in. As the
door closed, he started to approach the entrance, it was then that he
heard Leeza say she wanted to go home and that she didn't like chocolate
cake. This was serious.

He moved closer to the door, standing just outside, listening to the
fireworks that should soon explode.
