Bohb had just settled down on the chair of the stage and pulled out his drums when the raucous began. Looking past the lights he could hear the loud voices of a male and a female. He recognized the female as Dr. Solice. He did not recognize the man, but as
human males go he seemed to be quite handsome. </div>

Bohb frowned a little as their argument became more physical and they started to leave. As they were leaving the Captain had come in. It was a fortuitous moment that the son of Saleke would hear him play. But rather than stay he rendered the male unconscious
with a well practiced move that Bohb had seen a great deal of over the past 10 years. Then he stepped out the door. Bohb’s elation turned to disappointment. </div>

Dr. Solice left right behind him. His frown deepened. Still perhaps he could bring some calm to the remainder of the room. He began to announce his performance but before he could get a word out the new Caitian left his seat and moved as if to leave. </div>

Bohb’s brow furrowed. He needed to get control of the room but then Commander Verin and Ensign T’Mur got up and left the room. He hadn’t even begun to play and all of the people he wanted to be there had already evacuated the the room. </div>

Loud noises were coming from outside the Lounge. Then Bohb heard a small voice ask, I wonde if there’s any more talent on this ship.”</div>

That was Bohb’s cue, “You bet your butt there is. Ladies and gentlemen, remaining, for your listening pleasure. I had planned something a little different but I have a feeling we need something that will get people up to dance. I present the music of the Magillan
people. Feel free to move.”</div>

He began to To strike his drums with the palms of his hands. The slow, driving rhythm soon began to pick up pace, and Bohb could begin to feel the music flow through him. The tempo continued to pick up until the people in the room began to move in their seats.

After a few minutes someone jumped up on the stage and sat behind the keyboard, found the tempo and began to play a jazz riff. Somebody else had found a large bass in the collection of instruments and joined the ensemble. </div>

It didn’t take long for the trip to come together and create music that some of the crowd felt comfortable getting out of their seats and dancing to. </div>

Bohb smiled, hoping that the moment would last and the attendees would forget the excitement of earlier go enjoy the much deserved entertainment. When they finished they all stood up and took a bow. </div>
