He’d just finished up a quick shower, dawned a fresh uniform and reported to engineering. His blue PADD at the ready he reviewed today’s work and systems status. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:12.0pt'>“Nothing urgent, just routine maintenance.” He said aloud.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:12.0pt'>Scott punched up the systems schematic on the primary workstation and initiated several diagnostic routines that aligned with the planned maintenance cycle. After several minutes, the computer displayed a warning on one of the EPS conduits in environmental control. It was a secondary system that had been ignored for maintenance over more pressing work. Scott had anticipated the warning and procured the necessary replacement parts. It would take him just under 30 minutes to complete the upgrade and test the repair. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:12.0pt'>(USS Illuminar – Deck 12, Environmental Control - Ensign Scott Matrix- 1545)<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:12.0pt'>Scott finished up the physical removal and installation of the replacement EPS coil and secured panel A12-B. The diagnostic indicated that the repair was well within operational parameters.
