<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">I’m still getting used to the face that I am a Lieutenant jg and Chief of Security. More responsibility! Even though I took on some of the duties of a Security chief as the
assistant chief of security, it was frustrating knowing that you couldn’t make any significant policy decisions. Now I can. I intend to make the most of it. It is my desire to ensure that my security people to show excellence and not fall victim to the ‘red
shirt’ scenario!! That includes the cadets that recently joined the ship which is why I assigned an
<span style="color:black">Ensign Kolr Loceq</span> to mentor them. I always seen Klingon s Security officers makes the best instructors. They’re the equivalent of my time’s Sergeant majors!!<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">I have made organisational changes in my team.
<span style="color:black">PO3 Carol Linnis the former Armoury officer is my Assistant chief of security although she will continue to have overall eye on the work of the Armoury. I will recommend to the Captain to give Carol a promotion to PO2. The Armoury
officer is now PO1 Pevn Shasl and he will have a rotating team of Armoury assistants from the Security team. Which reminds me. There are a number of non energy weapons in the Armoury. The standard weapon are phasers. So I will be implementing the Captain’s
standing orders that any Security officer who want to be issue with a a non energy and blades will have to submit their request in writing to either the Armoury officer or myself which will then be submitted to the Captain for consideration. This includes
a rotation of staff to man the Security Monitoring Centre. Flexibility and developing the skillsets of my Security Officers is the order of the day. To this end, I will be devising a regular training and development programme for all the Security officers.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>

</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#282829;background:white">They will e mostly going to be running through training exercises to make sure that when the time comes for their thirty seconds of terror they'll be ready for
it. This probably will involve a gruelling physical fitness regimen, live fire exercises, and holographic scenarios that are only barely less terrifying than an actual crisis.</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">
