 “I, uh, just wasn’t a fit on theBraga. My reports, as you can see, have been exemplary. But I wasn’t feelingfulfilled there. I wanted to work somewhere that was state of the art. Mysuperior officer agreed. She wrote me a recommendation.”


He glanced down as the recommendation that had appeared on his console.

 

“Yes she did.” He paused for a moment. “The Hades is one of the state-of-the-artstarships in the fleet to date. This is primarily due to the hard work and diligenceof her crew. A ship is just a hulk without the crew inside to care for her.”



“I’m willing to work where you will have me, sir.”


Ire nodded. “I can see that, Ensign. Okay go and report to the Chief Engineersand get your orientation and shift duties from him.”

“The Chief should be in engineering if not thecomputer will give you the location.”
