HADESNRPG: First Month

Greetings Officers of the Hades,

As we begin my first full month as Captain, I can't really celebrate, as
we've lost quite a few to real life as they've felt they had to step away.
As we pick up the pieces and move forward I've already had to make some
decisions.

I've offered the positions to my FO and 2O and they've accepted.

Robbie will be your new First Officer. Robbie has been with the sim as long
as I have at least and he was with us since day one of the Reboot. I
believe his experience and knowledge will serve him well in his role.

Tinman has been named the Second Officer. Kinda green compared to Robbie's
experience in game, however his imagination and candor will I believe serve
him well as he grows into his new role.

With people stepping down we have a wide open Engineering and Security
departments. Anyone wanting an SPC in engineering or security that doesn't
already have one will be seriously considered as we'll need to pick up the
slack until a PC is available for the roles.

I have plans for the medical department. I will get with you guys privately
on discord for that discussion.

Additionally we are posting rate wise on the slow side. Our previous
Captain had temporarily abolished minimum post count because even he
admittedly, had multiple real world obstacles in the way of posting and
didn't feel holding everyone else to the standard he himself could not
muster was unfair. I agree. For now I am going to maintain that temporary
hold. I will however begin maintaining a post count so we can see how we
are doing and if we are improving.

The Command team and I are already brainstorming our next mission as this
one is nearing a close. The schedule so far looks like this:

I want to try and wrap up the mission by the end of this month, promotions
and awards included. After which we will be on a free flow furlough mission
where you can pursue individual story lines or recreational times. Bringing
us into our first mission of the year around January.

I'm available on discord when I answer but nearly any time I'm not sleeping
or driving. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to ask myself
or any of the command team for help with your ingame problems.
