Single Report for the USS Spectre Log Entry # 231

The Spectre has encountered a vessel of unknown origin, her hull the darkest black and of a configuration never before seen. Upon contact, the ship lost all power to her engines, although power to life support and all other systems remain thankfully on line.

The Captain has ordered an away mission to the unknown vessel, although after careful consideration and discussion with the senior officers and departmental heads, has decided to use the self-sustaining Marine Boarding Torpedo to get a team aboard. This being considered the safest option to take, given the fact that it is unknown what kind of a field has affected the ships drive.

The mission continues...
